George McLennan

Sound file played by Jim McGillivray on a Blair Digital Chanter. This tune was brought to light in an article on the pipes|drums website in 2017 after it had been discovered in a file folder left by the late Captain John A. MacLellan. The then-nameless tune was given the name of G.S. McLennan’s son George by his descendants. The tune has been reproduced here in G. S. McLennan’s usual fashion with no pointing, leaving interpretation to the discretion of the performer. The likely erroneous pointing at the ends of each line has also been left as G. S. wrote it.
