Unknown Motive

This jig was written whilst trying to put a band medley together. When trying out new tunes on people, I often use the pipe section for individual reaction. A good tune will have a phrase or motive that makes it work well. Sometimes it sounds familiar and the composer begins to worry about the credibility of the piece. The more you compose, the more difficult it is, to find and validate an original motive.
