Also known as “Daisy Bell,” this ditty was written by popular English composer Henry Dacre in 1982. A surprising number of English speaking people can sing the words to the chorus:
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer, do,
I’m half crazy all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage –
I can’t afford a carriage,
But you’d look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two.
