Very Difficult

This traditional (i.e. composer unknown) tune was written for John MacBeath, who was piper to the Highland Society of London for some years around 1829. He was a successful competitor who Donald Cameron called the best jig player of his day. He reportedly composed dozens of tunes, many of which may be played today as “traditional.”
